Amanda Rogers, Secretary
Amanda Rogers is a native of Houston, Texas. She moved here once she married her husband, Benji Rogers. They are the proud parents of Briley (6) and Owen (3). Briley is the fuel to Amanda’s fire in promoting for a society that is inclusive of all individuals with Down Syndrome. Amanda firmly believes that “where there is a will, there is a way”. Many individuals with Down Syndrome have that will and family and friends can often help in supporting the way. Amanda often jokes with Briley telling her to tell people to “Hold her sippy cup and watch this” as she continues to defy stereotypes of individuals with Down Syndrome. People with Down Syndrome can do ANYTHING and Amanda hopes that Briley and her friends will help in exhibiting that to all they meet along their journey in life. Amanda is excited to be a part of BUDS and hopes to bring exciting ideas and energy to the organization.
